Banjosa city is a small tourist resort located 12 miles from Rawalakot, District Poonch, Azad Kashmir. Rawalakot is approximately 75 miles (120 km) from the capital Islamabad. Banjosa Lake, surronded by thick forest of whispering pine trees, is a picturesque tourist spot.

The Chitta Katha Lake.
It is located at an altitude of 13,500 feet (4,100 metres) in the Shounter Valley in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. It is only accessible in the months of July and August. Tourists first reach Kel, then take a road from Kel to Shounter Valley. It is recommended to reach the village Utli Domel at night and proceed forward early in the morning. It takes 5 to 6 hours to reach the lake. One can also hire horses from the locals.
